The deputy city clerk of Waterbury, Victor M. Diaz, is under consideration for possible appointment as deputy commissioner of the state Department of Motor Vehicles in the administration of Gov. Dannel P. Malloy, sources tell Capitol Watch.
There is no comment yet from the Malloy administration on the sources' reports that there have been serious discussions of the spot for Diaz, a youthful, up-and-coming figure in Democratic politics.
