The Wolfe Tones - one of the best-known bands in Ireland - are coming to New Haven on Tuesday night for their annual trek to Connecticut in the days before Saint Patrick's Day.
The band's arrival is always saluted by legislators and lobbyists of all political stripes.
This year, former House Speaker James Amann and longtime lobbyist Carroll J. Hughes helped arrange the band's appearance at Toad's Place.
The group, in their 48th year of touring the world, had previously played at the Irish-American Home in Glastonbury, but this year's venue is the famous New Haven nightclub that has hosted The Rolling Stones and many others through the years.
