U. S. House Speaker John Boehner - the highest-ranking Republican in the nation - will be the guest speaker at the annual Prescott Bush Awards Dinner.
The dinner is traditionally the largest single fundraising event for the state Republican Party, and major national GOP figures have served as guest speakers. Through the years, the speakers have included U.S. Sen. John McCain, strategists Lee Atwater and Karl Rove, then-Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, former Rep. Jack Kemp, and former presidential candidates Bob Dole and Mitt Romney.
The dinner is normally scheduled around the keynoter's busy schedule, and the event this year is on Saturday, April 9 at the Stamford Hilton.
