Democrat Susan Bysiewicz has run for many positions, including two of the biggest in Connecticut politics - governor and attorney general.
Now, after six years as a state legislator from Middletown and 12 years as secretary of the state, Bysiewicz is running as an outsider for the U.S. Senate. She is traveling around Connecticut in the 2012 Democratic battle against U.S. Rep. Christopher Murphy of Cheshire.
