Misinformation about health care has been blamed, at least in part, for sinking the concessions deal between the state employee unions and the Malloy administration.
Now a letter has surfaced that suggests the unions themselves are to blame for some of that bad information.
Hartford Courant columnist Kevin Rennie, in his Daily Ructions blog, has posted a letter dated April 14 from AFSCME Council 4 Executive Director Sal Luciano to Gov. Dannel P. Malloy, in which Luciano wrote: "The state employee health plan will become part of SustiNet."
