The Hartford Courant's Don Stacom reports:
Gov. Dannel P. Malloy on Wednesday said his administration is willing to talk with state union leaders about how to get approval for the concessions deal that was voted down last month, but emphasized that he's not agreeable to negotiating a new one.
"I don't think there's a whole lot to talk about," Malloy said Wednesday when reporters asked about a union proposal to resume negotiations.
"We spent two months negotiating an agreement that moves the budget forward," he said. "What does labor want to do in approving that agreement?"
