U.S. Rep. Rosa DeLauro is bringing a big name with her to East Haven tomorrow afternoon: House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi will join the New Haven Democrat on a tour of storm-damaged Cosey Beach.
Also joining the DeLauro are Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman, state Department of Emergency Management and Homeland Security Peter Boynton, East Haven Mayor April Capone and Stephen M. De Blasio Sr., an official with the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
The group will provide a briefing on storm recovery efforts at the FEMA assistance center on Cosey Beach Avenue at 2:45 p.m. Officials will tour the area afterward.
