State Republican Party Chairman Jerry Labriola, Jr. blasted Democratic Gov. Dannel P. Malloy Wednesday in response to Malloy's being named finance chairman for the national Democratic Governors Association -- and Democrats fired back by invoking the name of convicted former Republican Gov. John G. Rowland.
