Linda McMahon's new ad addresses her WWE connection head on. Well, sort of head on: the commerical features pyrotechnics and muscle men making soaring jumps -- not scantily clad women being groped, tables, ladders and chairs matches nor the infamous clip of McMahon herself keeing a guy in the groin.
In her words, it's all pure soap opera, scripted entertainment for the enjoyment of millions of fans around the globe.
Muchnick has a different take: "At Linda McMahon's World Wrestling Entertainment, people die needlessly. Not soap-opera characters. People. And that isn't funny."
