For much of the day Friday, the Democratic gubernatorial campaign team of former Stamford Mayor Dan Malloy was asking this question: Who sent a film crew to take videos of Malloy's house in Stamford earlier this week? The crew was seen, but left before anyone could find out what it was doing, and for whom.
Columnist Kevin Rennie raised the question publicly in the morning this item in his Daily Ructions blog. Rennie suspected it was Malloy's Aug. 10 gubernatorial primary opponent, Ned Lamont, but the Lamont campaign did not respond to e-mailed inquiries about it, Rennie wrote.
