As of early Monday morning, both Democrat Dannel Malloy and Republican Tom Foley have transition teams as they both look forward to being the governor on January 5.
But the Secretary of the State's office has ruled that the official vote count shows that Malloy won the election by more than 5,600 votes.
The transition officials for Malloy and Foley appeared at a party for The Mark Twain House at the Hartford Club, standing next to state Republican chairman Chris Healy.
