Colleen O'Daly, the 44-year-old alternate juror who wrote a note to a judicial marshal during the Cheshire death penalty trial in New Haven, says the whole issue has been blown out of proportion.
O'Daly wrote a note on a napkin for a uniformed marshal during the triple-slaying trial, and she needed to explain the situation to Superior Court Judge Jon Blue. The note suggested that they meet at 5 p.m. on a Sunday at a bar and restaurant in Hamden.
