The Huffington Post is reporting that conservative political commentator Glenn Beck has sold his 8,700-square-foot New Canaan mansion and is headed out of the New York metropolitan area.
Beck is parting ways with the Manhattan-based Fox News Channel, and some radio stations - such as WOR-AM in New York and WDRC-AM in Bloomfield - have already dropped his syndicated program.
A longtime Connecticut resident, Beck covers national news but has also focused on Connecticut politicians on his Fox television show - interviewing then-Attorney General Richard Blumenthal and talking about then-U.S. Senator Christopher J. Dodd.
