Norwalk Republican Town Chairman Art Scialabba dropped his bid for state party chair earlier this week and threw his support to frontrunner William Aniskovich.
But now that Aniskovich has dropped his bid, Scialabba is getting back in.
In a letter to State Central Committee members, who will chose the new party chair at the end of the month, Scialabba says he's formally reentering the race.
"As you are aware - circumstances have changed, but my desire to make our state party better and stronger has not,'' he wrote. "I have certainly learned for this experience. If my recent withdrawal from the race causes you concern, I respectfully ask that you reconsider."
