Gov. Dannel P. Malloy will continue his "jobs tour" Wednesday morning at Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks with a ceremonial re-enactment of his recent signing of a bill establishing the Connecticut Airport Authority.
Malloy will be joined by legislators, business leaders and state officials as he talks about the new authority that is supposed to run and improve the state's biggest airport and the five other general aviation airports in Connecticut.
After that 11 a.m. event, Malloy and Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Catherine Smith will hold a "roundtable meeting" with several businesses' representatives from the area. The topic will be how the new authority can help to "capitalize on Bradley and the state's other airports for new economic development growth," the governor's office said in a statement.
