New CT Capitol Report poll shows Larson solidly ahead in CT-1

U.S. Rep. John Larson, D-1^st District, has widened his lead over Republican challenger Ann Brickley, according to a poll released Thursday on www.CTCapitolReport.com

The poll of 423 district voters showed Larson ahead 56 percent to Brickley's 38 percent. Of the respondents, 3.1 percent said they were still unsure which candidate they will support. The poll, conducted by the Merriman River Group, has a margin of error of +/- 4.8 percent.

Earlier this month, a poll by the same group showed Larson with a 51.8 to 44.7 percent lead over Brickley.
