Remember the TV commercial by the conservative American Action Network that slammed U.S. Rep. Chris Murphy for backing a healthcare overhaul that would have jailed those who do not have medical insurance?

The one that was pulled by Fox CT earlier this week because its claim could not be documented?

Well, the ad will be back on the air tonight after some changes were made and additional documentation was provided to the TV station.

Fox CT, the local Fox affiliate and broadcast partner of the Hartford Courant, had initially said the ad wouldn't air, even after the American Action Network scrubbed the reference to jail time for the uninsured. But after reviewing the additional documentation, the station reversed course.

"Since removing the American Action Network's spot titled "Mess" from our air, modifications were made to it and further documentation was provided to the station,'' F ox CT spokeswoman Andrea Savastra said via email. "We've reviewed both the revised spot and the documents, and believe they meet the criteria necessary for the spot to air."

The American Action Network, based in Washington, has spent millions airing ads against Democrats across the nation. A similar spot that ran in Colorado was also pulled by a television station there.
