Ken Krayeske, the Green Party candidate for Congress from the 1st District, has a new web ad out featuring his nemisis,Jim Calhoun.
Entitled "Speak Truth to Power, the 30-second spot contains a clip of Krayeske's confrontation with the UConn men's basketball coach.
(If you forgot, here's a recap of the controversy, which generated national headlines when it erupted in the winter of 2009: Krayeske asked Calhoun of the millionaire coach if he thought he should give back a portion of his salary. "Shut up,'' Calhoun responded.)
Turns out Calhoun and his wife, both big supporters of Democrats, gave money to U.S. Rep. John Larson, the man Krayeske is running against.
